Meet the Author

Father Charles Mortimer Carty worked with the radio and the press for twenty-four years in the twentieth century. He and Father Leslie Rumble of Australia founded the St. Paul, Minnesota-based Radio Replies Press, through which they distributed thousands of Catholic books and pamphlets. Father Charles wrote the bulk of Padre Pio: The Stigmatist while living at San Giovanni Rotondo, visiting the saint. He afterwards toured the United States and gave sermons on St. Pio. He died during one of these tours on May 22, 1964, in Pennsylvania

Wonderful classic Catholic apologetics resource which contains

Wonderful classic Catholic apologetics resource which contains almost every challenge ever leveled against the Catholic Church by both honest enquirers and hostile skeptics. Formatted in short, easily digestible question and answer form, these answers are simple yet comprehensive and offered in plain language that directly answers each challenge. Some questions may be a little obscure, pertaining to persons and events that must have been hot topics around the time of publication, but most of the challenges are perennial and evergreen. Answers are always given in a spirit of charity, however sarcastic and in pertinent questions are called out for what they are. Not only highly informative but highly entertaining!

    Excellent Information

These books are great for responding to those hard to answer questions that anyone may have on Catholic teachings. I highly recommend it for religion teachers and parents.
