From The CriticsReviewer: Ann M. Irvin, RTR (Froedtert Hospital)
Description: This is an extensive and comprehensive review designed to prepare student radiographers to complete the national registry exam. This edition updates the 2011 edition with the most current information on the newest technology.
Purpose: The purpose is to thoroughly prepare student radiographers in all of the areas in which they will be tested. This is a valuable, condensed version of what they will need to know to be successful in taking the boards.
Audience: The review is intended for student radiographers at the conclusion of their studies, but before taking the national exam. It is an all-around review of all the content that will be on the exam.
Features: This book is geared to the courses and studies that are required for the ARRT exam. I especially appreciate the review questions and explanations after each unit, which are informative and helpful when reviewing so much information. The other really nice feature is the practice exam at the end, which gives students a really good feel for what it will be like to take the exam.
Assessment: I thoroughly enjoy this review/prep book. This is what we recommend our student radiographers use to prepare to sit for the national registry. It is a comprehensive and complete review of all the pertinent material.
