It's Rounder's second Raffi box; the first was THE SINGABLE SONGS COLLECTION, which contains Raffi's first three albums, including his all-time bestseller, SINGABLE SONGS FOR THE VERY YOUNG. This new set compiles the albums RISE AND SHINE, ONE LIGHT ONE SUN, and EVERYTHING GROWS, and includes several dozen Raffi favorites. Interspersed among original songs such as "Rise and Shine," "The Numbers Rumba," and "The Bowling Song" are traditional kids' songs "Wheels on the Bus," "Tingalayo," and the sure-to-fetch-giggles "Apples and Bananas", kid-friendly songs by music celebs the Beatles' "Octopus's Garden", multilingual tunes from other lands Mexico's "De Colores," France's "Savez-vous Planter des Choux," Japan's "Haru Ga Kita", and well-loved African-American spirituals "He's Got the Whole World," Raffi's signature concert closer "This Little Light of Mine."     Children's Classics. Fun for Children.

    This is the best children's music ever! Raffi is our children's favorite musician, and we own a lot of children's music. This collection is a compilation of his best. All these songs are so singable. They never get old. You'll find yourself singing along, too! This music is good for your children's development. We also would highly recommend any of the 3 excellent CD's as stand-alone purchases, but you save money with the 3-CD collection. We also highly recommend the 3-CD collection Singable Songs Collection.
