Greatly Recommended- A new take on how the protagonist finds he is meant for greatness

Taking place not long after the end of the first book, Drew continues on his protagonist path. Like other stories, he is ordinary, if only slightly off from the other lower class citizens. Drew had found out he was heir to a thrown once taken by lions. He looses his foster family and fights for his freedom of an increasingly more oppressing life.

Rage of Lions takes place after the revolt against the King. The last of the enemy have been holed up inside the castle. Drew seeks to run away from his destiny. When his path leads him away from the Lion King, he gladly sets off.

This story is filled with more suspense than the Eragon series. Action is not short on Drew's path, as is the emotional aspect. Blossoming relationships and tension thicker than blood makes you want to read until the end.

In this second installment of the Wereworld series, young Wolflo

In this second installment of the Wereworld series, young Wolflord Drew goes on a mission to capture his angry half-brother, the Werelion Lucas. Meanwhile, civil war is brewing in Lyssia. I was really impressed with the world-building of the first book of this series, Rise of the Wolf, so I eagerly rushed to get the second book as soon as it was published. Rage of Lions was action-packed, while thickening the plot by introducing moral dilemmas--the consequences of bad choices with good intentions. I think this book didn't quite hold par with the first one, but it was certainly enough to keep me eager for the third installment, Shadow of the Hawk, which is coming soon. I was a little disappointed with the cliff-hanger ending. I understand that Jobling can't tie up all his loose ends, but certainly he could have made it a little more satisfying.

    Good

Personally, I feel this wasn't as good as the first book. While I still thought it was great, it just didn't interest me as much as the prequal.

Pretty good if "good" means awesome and amazing!

If you're looking for a good and suspensful book. This iis the one for you. It has many twists and turns, with a cliffhanger on the end of almost every chapter, including the end. However, one should note that if you do not read the first book (Rise of the Wolf) beforehand, this book will be confusing and boring. I personally believe that this book should get ten stars. You're amazing Curtis Jobling!
