CHAPTER 1

Felix loved TO GO TO The park. Everyday at the park was a special day. There were swings, and climbing Toys and a big slide.

But there was something else at the park that Felix loved Best. There was a pond, and in the pond there were ducks and geese and swans! Felix loved to watch the birds swim. Sometimes they even put their heads right under the water!

As he ran toward his Favorite place in the park, he noticed there were lots of children by the big old tree near the pond. They were laughing and crowding together. Something special was happening.

Felix could fee! The excitement as he came closer. At first he couldn't see past the other children, but as he peeked through the crowd he couldn't believe his eyes.

He saw a rainbow clown! There was a clown right here at the park, right beside his favorite pond, wearing every color of the rainbow! Red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo and violet. Felix was so excited he didn't even notice the ducks or the geese or the swans.

The rainbow clown was talking to the children, "Hello boys and girls. My name is Rainbow!" All the children shouted back "Hello Rainbow!" Felix shouted too, "Hello Rainbow!"
