Rainforest Colors is an informational read that talks about the rainforest and all of its different colors. The rainforest is a big part of science, therefore it would be easy to teach a science lesson with. I really enjoyed this book because of the illustrations such as the one on the front cover. This would also be helpful when teaching colors. Susan Canizares has wrote many books on science. Her subjects include: insects, the arctic, and the coral reef. This book would be really good for kindergarteners. Canizares, Suzan. Rainforest Colors. Scholastic Inc. 1997.
