Okay, I'll admit that I'm a sucker for a good arranged marriage story. I love it when an author throws two opposite but perfect-for-each-other people into a situation that makes them "hate" each other. All the clashes and fireworks make for a great read.
Amy Talbot created two strong and relatable characters to fight and fall-in-love: Vania who is an Australian grade-school teacher and Deven who is an Indian business mogul. They're from very different cultures but share many of the same values at the core of who they are. I love how skillfully Talbot writes her way into the reader's heart with this story. The Rajah's Chosen Bride has a great beginning and an even better end.
