    I Also Recommend:

Well Written, Better than the Average Fantasy Manga

Please note that my opinion is colored by my previous love of the Death Note manga series by the same artist, and as such this could never have met my hopes for it. That aside, I would certainly recommend it. This series has a nice mix of grown-up humor with enough fantasy background information to keep the intellectual interested. The art style is well developed and each character is drawn to match their unique personality. All in all the series is worth keeping up on and is fast gaining popularity, so go ahead and give it a try.

    I Also Recommend:

    Shadows

This book is an action packed book that I read at least a million times. It's about a boy named Ral who was locked away in complete darkness for 15 years because he has the shadow of a dangerous dragon named Grad. This book is very exciting and is one of my first manga.
