Meet the Author

Ralph Compton stood six foot eight without his boots. He worked as a musician, a radio announcer, a songwriter, and a newspaper columnist. His first novel, The Goodnight Trail, was a finalist for the Western Writers of America’s Medicine Pipe Bearer Award for best debut novel. He was also the author of the Sundown Riders series and the Border Empire series.

    Transformers

    Blacker listens to his MP3 player. Aero covers her ears with her paws. 'Same song, same volume, same reaction,' she thought to herself. 'Sheesh! He's always going to have it like that!' She adds to herself. "Ugh, can't he turm it down!?!" Muttered Straightshot as he passed him as he went to sit on a boulder.

    They wouldn't let me give it anymore stars!

    The book played out and read wonderfully. If only I could have given it more stars I would have. I deffinately have to have all of Ralph Compton's books.
