When Alice is coerced into marriage to a vulgar rancher who is terrible in bed, she dreads facing each new day with him…and worse, each night. On top of her many chores, her husband tells her he expects her to “entertain” his ranch hands—but her piano playing isn’t what he had in mind. Will Alice find her new duties unbearable…or will this development give her new life a surprising twist?

A sexy short story of 3,425 words.

The following morning the ranch hands arrived in the early afternoon. She had expected dirty, ugly, uncouth men—instead, they were brawny, rugged, and handsome. And yes, a little dirty from the road. John didn’t bother to introduce Alice to the men. He didn’t speak to her unless he needed to.

All afternoon, Alice hauled pot after pot of boiling water outside to the washtubs to wash the cowboys’ soiled clothing. She spotted a few of the men hauling their own water to the bunkhouse for baths. Once she even caught a glimpse of a naked ranch hand when one of them left the door to the bunkhouse open and passed by it. Her breath ceased, and she felt a funny, warm feeling between her legs.

That evening, the men came for dinner, and Alice still had no idea how her husband wanted her to entertain them. Her only talent, besides sewing, was playing the piano. As all the men assembled in the cabin, she inhaled the fresh smell of soap and the musky scent of male. It was so much better than the dirty, foul smell of John, who refused to bathe more than once every two weeks, no matter how hard he worked.

Alice felt strangely nervous, but she pulled out the sheet music for a few lively songs and launched into the first one. She got no more than a few bars in when John burst out laughing.

“You are a stupid woman!” he yelled. “I told you to entertain them!”

She stared at the floor. “I’m trying,” she whispered. What did he want from her?

“They don’t want music! They want to take turns rutting on you, you silly cow.” He stood up and yanked her roughly to her feet. “Now take your clothes off and bend over that piano bench so they can see your pussy.”

She stared at him wide-eyed in shock. “My…what?”
