This atlas is large enough to be easy on the eyes. The spiral binder makes it easier to manipulate.

This is the ultimate road atlas - big print, easy to read, understand, and plenty of mileage indicators for road travel and trip planning. Highly recommended.

Nice and easier to read because of larger type. Like the spiral binding. Price was a great bargain over buying locally. Item shipped very quickly and I am more than happy with purchase. Thanks!

My husband bought this atlas, thinking the "Large" edition would be easier to read etc; however I find it very difficult to use. Because of the large maps etc, the states are split onto 2 or 3 pages, with no overlapping from one page to another. In addition, although the map pages are "large" the index in the back is just as small as the other editions. I would not purchase this style again, in fact I replacing it with the regular edition.

The spiral binding is great- no more folding over to see two states at the same time. The print is large so that people like me who use reading glasses, but not while driving, can read the map while driving. One annoying feature is that the blow-up version of maps of cities may not be on a page near the state map containing those cities. The state map does always tell you, though, on what page to find the blow-up. It's just a little inconvenient to go back and forth between state and city map. Also we used this map to drive from Nebraska to North Carolina and in North Carolina had to take a detour on side roads. The map didn't list any of the cities we passed on the side road or any of the roads intersecting the side road. If you stick to the main roads the map is great, with well-marked routes. But if you want to drive the back roads, you may find yourself a but frustrated. Still it got us where we wanted to go, even with the detour, and it is easy to use and read.

We are full-time RV'ers and like this map/book because it is easy to use with 'wired' binding and large type for older eyes.

I appreciate the large scale on the "Rand McNally 2010 the road Atlas". Not only is the print easy to read but also the colors are exceptionally clean and routes very easy to follow. We are planning a long driving trip shortly and have had no problems at all planning the routes. I would rate this a 10.

This is a map my brain can appreciate. Large print, good detail and split along lines that actually make sense when trying to use. Proce is usual, but the fact it is out so early makes one pause. Get it if you want a great suppliment to your GPS system.
