Carlene Fredericka Brennen Bio: Carlene Fredericka Brennen is an award winning photojournalist and was a newspaper editor and publisher on Sanibel Island, Florida for twenty years. Randy Wayne White credits Brennen with the idea for their memoir cookbook. Brennen documented with her photographs White’s time at Tarpon Bay. Their friendship spans thirty years. She and White co-published Tarpon Tales Lost Stories and Research in 1990. In 2003, Brennen co authored Hemingway in Cuba with Hilary Hemingwayand in 2004 was a co-producer of a PBS documentary based on the book. Brennen’s book Hemingway’s Cats An Illustrated Biography will be released in February 2006.
