Wow

Wow, I pick this book up everyday and read it over and over.. I can't get over the way she turns his world upside down.. I also can believe that temptation is unreal.. I can honestly say, being in that industry as a woman with a man who performs, you have to have a lot a trust and say a lot of prayers.. Hats off to Debra Clayton...

    You wanna f*** a superstar?

Everyone wants a piece of Animalistic, the hottest rapper out. And Animalistic happily obliges (literally), sexing women from city to city while he's on tour.

Randi Jacobs' dreams have come true when her favorite gangsta rapper Anthony "Animalistic" Talbert dines at the restaurant where she works. Impressed by her beauty, Animalistic invites her to his after party. Randi is flying high on cloud nine until he, true to his name and lyrics, expects her to give it up easily as so many females before her have. Appalled by his crude suggestion, Randi puts him in his place. And so the story begins. Animalistic has never been turned down before. The challenge of one Ms. Randi Jacobs is too irresistible to pass up. He sets out to see what's so different about her, while Randi is still coming to grips with her past.

Rap Superstar is a very quick and easy read While the story line is extremely predictable, it is still a decent and enjoyable read. And is it me, or does the man on the cover look just like 50?

Reviewed by: Toni
3.5 stars

    Wow!

This was a really good book. It touched me and at some points, I felt like I was going to break down and cry. Rap Superstar was beautifully written. It is so amazing how somebody so disrespectful to others and even to himself can change into a totally different person. I have to admit that the old Animalistic(the 'rap superstar') truly disgusted me. He disgusted me so much, I had an attitude and was depressed for one day straight. I believed that maybe most of the rap superstars of our era, are just like the way Animalistic used to be before he met Randi. It is very sad, but it IS reality that rap superstars these days may be just like the old Animalistic. When Randi came to the picture and started teaching him respect, I decided to give this book a chance and continue reading it. Now I am very happy that I read it, because it brought me joy and happiness. It was so worth reading. I feel that this book would make a really cute movie. Props to Rap Superstar.

    A Lover of Urban Drama

This was an awesome hip hop love story. I'ts every girls dream to fall madly in love with a superstar and for them to love you back is a pure fantasy come true. I read this book in one day, could not put it down. If you haven't read it, go get it! you too will fall in love and become head over heels for a superstar. Some people who read the book think it's about 50 cent. I'm not sure but i wonder who will be the lady to get his heart open.

A lover of urban book and always looking for new ones.

This book was of the hook. It made me cry just to think of how bad she hurt inside because of what he did to her. I wanted to jump in the book and tell her that everything is going to b alright. It just seemed so real but at the same time so unreal, but who knows love makes u do crazy things.
