Rapid Interface Builder: A new fast track to mobile hybrid development

Overview

I created this document and process for fast tracking mobile hybrid development out of necessity. I recently found the Intel XDK ( ) and really like as the tool allow me to create Android apps very quickly. However, recently, when updates to the Intel XDK are published, I am finding features get broken. This is unacceptable for a production tool as time is money, and when I cannot spend time creating apps and wasting time waiting for bug fixes, I lose money. So I began my search for a free alternative, then I came across the Rapid Interface Builder ( and installed in my server. I do miss the Intel XDK mobile app testing bed, but using the Rapid Interface Builder I can test in a browser before creating a native hybrid app using my skeleton projects available on
