This story is about 3.5 stars. Only 41 pages for a bit too much

This story is about 3.5 stars. Only 41 pages for a bit too much $$. It was a different kind of read about a race of ShadowShifters that are prisoners/fighting type gladiators for another race called Antarians. Antarians collect women who have committed crimes or on death row a chance at life with one of these ShadowShifters, who win the women thru fighting. The winners choose their women/slaves once they are brought to them. This is where you find Maura Nephrite and chosen by Raker Anilan, the best fighter. He is really rough and there is not much talking between the two main characters. Beaware there is some pretty heavy scences with those two, which is a lot for this short story. There is a nice ending, very sweet, but a simple read for sure. Overall an okay story.
