This cd is all this rapping stuff!!! The only song that is good is Double Dutch Bus! She tries to rap but she can't, it sounds like a dying cat!!!

Once I heard "Double Dutch Bus," on the Disney Channel, I knew I had to listen to the new album. It is definitely a step further than her 2004 release, "This Is My Time," which was more Pop, Alternative. "Raven-Symone" is more R&B, a lot more Soulful, and their are some Pop cuts in their. Dancing tracks, don't worry, "Green," "Stupid," and "What Are You Gonna Do," will sure be making you dance. Also, this album is appropriate for all ages, Raven-Symone is still a great role model, and through this album, you'll see it. She isn't talking about drugs, violence, or anything negative. "In Your Skin," is about being comfortable with who you are, and "Anti-Love Song," deals with not wanting to be depressed over a breakup, and not wanting to hear another love song. The album is very good, you'll be SURPRISED!

The cd is very good. It's something new from Raven and I really appreciate that. The songs have a good mix of r&b, pop, hip hop to them. The only one that doesn't fit in to well is Double Dutch Bus, good song though. Hope the Album does well!

Very Britney-Spearsy with a Raven-acious twist,lol...Favorite songs "Stupid", "What Are You Gonna'Do", "Anti-Love Song", "Shorts Like Me" [definattlleeyy], and "HollyWood Life"...cant forget "Green"... I think that "That Girl" was edited too much, idk it sounds as if they over-edited the song with sound effects and everything i prefer the first, raw version, but it still sounds cool..."Keep A Friend" is just...blah "Love Me Or Hate Me" is pretty good...the vocal range[s] that she sang on the chorus sounds just amazing..."In Your Skin" "Things will always be like this,as long as jealousy exists, thats now how i choose to be,im cool being simply me...", She talks about haters, and how she refuses to drive herself into the midst of negative energy "Hey there lady is this the way we should do eachother,if its that deep, take the energy you use to hate on me to get you further. No, thats just not me i'll never agree with negativity, you can keep that over there"... I love love love Hollywood Life",vocals were phe-nomenal...Raven has always described Hollywood as a facade, and in this song she describes a young girl who was in a rush to live out her dreams there, she breathes in the fumes of Superficiality ,allows Hollywood to mold her into someone that they want her to be...and eventually finds herself running away from the same dreams that she was in a rush to pursue in the past.. "And When the sun goes down, you can almost hear the sound of the broken dreams on the ground..." ------------------- I am quite dissapointed with the amount of record sales...prior to the fact that her first single was "Double Dutch Bus" and although it had its spotlight on iTUNES for a whilee... i can see it being promoted on DisneyChannel and i understand that it was linked to her movie "College Road Trip" but as a first single?for a cd in which she planned to be a success? err...i dont know guys...thats a no-no...Personally to me, its like the outcast on the cd... i love the track DONT get me wrong,it uplifts me,very retro,laid-back, but the first single is supposed to,represent the entireeee cd...and the entire cd doesnt sound so"You-Know-You-Wanna-Jump-On-The-Double-Dutch-Bus"y lol... i was impressed with the cd,i love it just as much as i loved Britney Spear's cD "Black Out" I wish that the first single would target to audiences of all ages. 5 STARS alllll the way! p.s. To ensure that your cd has a great start, release a first single that reaches out to the liking of all audiences, use a song that you can hear yourself bumping to on the radio,on 106/TRL...you get my drift? I'm still a dedicated fan though

I love the album and i am soo glad Raven decided to try a new R&B-ish sound. The album is great andi recommend it, but she needs a single that captivates audiences and makes them want to engulf in the cd. Double dutch bus was a good single for the movie BUT she now needs a GREAT single forthe album & new video. Nevertheless, i loved the album. Everyone go and buy it!
