I ordered this book because I am in the process of transitioning from the SAD to a raw food diet. I was very excited about my purchase until I got the book. Quite a few of the recipes require the use of a professional blender, such as a Blendtec or Vitamix, and a food dehydrator. These facts are not mentioned in the online description of the book. Had they included this missing and vital information in the online description, I probably would not have bought the book. I don't have either of these items, although I am planning to purchase them in the future. In the meantime, this book just sits on my shelf.
The book itself is beautiful, well put together and very easy to follow. The pictures are fantastic. It is a very well put together raw food recipe book and I'll probably get more use of it once I get the blender and dehydrator.
Had it not been for them leaving out the tools you need to make these recipes, I would have given this book a 10+.

I am really enjoying this book. I have a normal blender and juicer and am able to make everything but the dehydrated foods, but those can be made in an oven if need be. Green smoothies are now a part of my family's every day life! If anything could be improved, I would like more recipes than given! I can't wait to try the desserts! Was this review helpful?
