Overview

Picking herself up after the devastating loss of her master is more difficult than Darcy anticipated. Just when she needs someone the most, a handsome Dom steps in. Theo is thoughtful, dominant, and demanding—everything she needs. He pushes her boundaries, tests her limits, and takes her to new heights. With him, she remembers what it is to feel joy and love and a firm hand on her ass.

Agent Malcolm Legato is after a corrupt businessman, and Darcy is his ticket into the upper echelon of Snyder Corp. As he cultivates her as an asset, he falls hard for this feisty submissive, and he knows he'll break her heart the moment she finds out he's been lying to her all along.

When it all falls apart, will Darcy be able to find the strength to forgive Malcolm so they can build a life together and the courage to bring justice to the man she loved and lost?

With twists of rope and plot, this action-packed story will make you laugh, cry, and squirm in all the right ways. With Re/Bound, Michele Zurlo delivers a smart, bold, and sexy tale.

Editorial Reviews

TRR - The Romance Reviews
“It's not hard to find yourself lost in this book and unable to stop reading…RE /BOUND is a must read.”
TRS - The Romance Studio
“A bold, smart, and sexy story that is the perfect combination of romance and dominance. The author does a superb job of explaining the psychological elements behind the relationship, needs, behaviors, and connection that is between Malcolm and Darcy. The blistering sex is filled with smoking hot delights, kinky pleasures, and tender seduction.”
TFB - The Forbidden Bookshelf
“The characterizations of Malcolm and Darcy as a new D/s couple were spot on...RE/BOUND is a suspenseful and very steamy story, and I would highly recommend it to fans of BDSM erotic romances.”
NOR - Night Owl Reviews
“This was a very absorbing and entertaining read with an action-packed ending that will leave you breathless. The connection that Darcy and Malcolm share is stunningly beautiful. Highly recommended.”
UTC - Under the Covers Book Blog
“Darcy is the kind of submissive that’s a pleasure to read about and so easy to relate to. Theo is one incredibly sexy Dom. His presence fills the page, larger than life, ruthless and in-control, but sensually caring and romantic at the same time. The sexual tension between the two is painfully good to read and leads to some wonderful scenes of S/M, light bondage, and wildly dirty sex. The balance is perfect here, and the story flows easily, with smart and witty dialog.”

Meet the Author

I’m Michele Zurlo, author of over 20 romance novels. During the day, I teach English, and in the evenings, romantic tales flow from my fingertips.

I’m not half as interesting as my characters. My childhood dreams tended to stretch no further than the next book in my to-be-read pile, and I aspired to be a librarian so I could read all day. I’m pretty impulsive when it comes to big decisions, especially when it’s something I’ve never done before. Writing is just one in a long line of impulsive decisions that turned out to showcase my great instincts. Find out more at www.michelezurloauthor.com or @MZurloAuthor.

    3.5 out of 5 Licks (books 1 & 2 reviewed together)

I am going to start out by saying that you really should read these stories together and in order. I am glad I did, I think some nuances of the stories would not make sense otherwise. So I decided to review them that way for those very reasons.

Re/Bound for me was a little slow at times and I got a little distracted. I loved the premise of the story and action/thriller aspects for me these were a plus. Of the two stories, this was the emotional one for me. I felt so bad for Darcy, not knowing what happened to her first Dom. Just the first scene sets you up for her character and the emotions of the book. I know Malcolm/Theo is just doing his job, but to take Darcy on even more of an emotional roller coaster ride did not make me a big fan. Don't get me wrong I like Malcolm/Theo he is alpha male and protective but a big romantic too.

Re/Paired, was much more faced paced, kept me in the story. Really Darcy and Katrina are very much alike a few aspects of their stories, Katrina just seems the more worldly one. Katrina is loyal to a fault and that gets her in trouble in this book, when someone close starts stalking her. Katrina wants to be trained as a submissive and what starts out as just trying to protect Kat by Keith turns into training her to be his submissive. Once we get past Keith's hard exterior watch out, he may be a demanding Dom but he has a soft spot a mile wide for Kitty Kat.

I enjoyed both stories, the BDSM elements of both stories were sexy and well thought out. The female characters were strong, smart and held their own in the stories with the alpha male Doms. Well written stories I would recommend to anyone.

I enjoyed the BDSM component of this book and the emotional chemistry between the varous characters.
