Wow, it's hard to believe one simple change to my diet would result in such an improvement in my blood sugar. My doctor prescribed me medication for the disorder (didn't help much), exercise (mad it worse) and then a friend gave me a copy of this book. I found that I felt much better after eating the suggested meals and I have slowly switched 90 percent of my meals to ones like the ones suggested in this book. Mu only complaint is that I don't have a slow cooker so I would have appreciated more instructions for a regular pot.

I've tried most of the hypoglycemic cookbooks out there, mostly in desperation, to try and get a handle on my mild hypoglycemia. Boy, was I glad to find this book! The recipes are simple, yet tasty and they are also quick to cook. It also has full nutritional info on each page, which I really appreciated! The recipes range from American to Indian, so I really think there is a recipe for everyone.
