All Music Guide - Charlotte Dillon
This 1994 album, Read My Mind, is another wonderful offering of songs performed by the gifted country singer Reba McEntire. Half of the tunes on this album became hits. Mixed in with the expected country styling on this album you'll find a little soul, a little ...

This is one of the few albums music lovers will find out there where almost every song is a good one, and worth repeated listening.

    Reba at her best....

I've been a HUGE Reba fan ever practically since birth, and she's a huge inspiration to my singing. Read My Mind is a rare CD for me that I can just put on and listen to....no skippin around LOL. Every song on here is a aboslute hit, Reba's at her best. My personal favorites are 'Why Haven't I Heard From You' (which I have sentimental attachment to since that's the first song I ever remember hearing!), 'Till You Love Me', 'I Won't Stand In Line' & 'She Thinks His Name Was John'. Reba is a true musical genius, if there were more like her the music world'd be a much better place. Keep it up girl!

    Courage

The song ''She Thinks His Name Was John'' is reason enough to buy this CD. HIV/AIDS is not a subject you expect country singers to address. Not only is it an incredible song, it also has an important message.I admire someone of Reba's stature in the country music world for singing this song.
