I am constantly looking things up and bookmarking them to come back to when I have time. Unfortunately, when I DO have the time to go back to my bookmarks, I no longer have a wireless connection. This app allows me to read what I've bookmarked without wifi. And it puts it in a reader format, making it easier on my eyes (no distracting ads!).

Here's how it worked for me, using the Nook Tablet to browse (using your Destop's browser is a 2nd way to get articles on your Nook): 1) Install on Nook Tablet and launch; 2) Tap ellipsis (...) icon in upper right-hand corner 3) Tap + sign icon in upper right-hand corner 4) Enter URL, go to website and article you want to read 5) Tap "Read Later" in lower right-hand corner of screen (article is saved to Reading List on Nook) 6) Tap "Done" in upper right-hand corner of screen 7) Article is now at top of Readability Reading List To use your Desktop's browser to add articles to your Nook Tablet you have to got to Readability's website and "install" the bookmarks (forget the "Send to Kindle" bookmark, it won't work on your Nook, and there is no "Send to Nook" bookmark). I "installed" two bookmarks in my browser from the Readability website: "Read Later" and "Read Now". You can put them anywhere you want (Favorites Bar, folder, etc). When you navigate to a website using your Desktop's browser and find an article you would like to read on your Nook Tablet, simply click the Bookmark "Read Later" and it will be saved to the Readability Server that will be accessed by the app on your Nook Tablet. To do so, launch the app on your Nook and gently "pull" down on the top article in the Reading List (don't long-press to launch the article). The screen will say "Release to Refresh" and will retrieve the saved article (the one you saved from your Desktop browser) from the Readability Server and place it at the top of your Reading List. Have fun! Hope this helps.....

Clean and straight-forward interface. Easy to use right from the first start, no need even to click open the "Getting Started" guide. Readability performs a useful task very well, exactly as it's promoted. And it's free. Enough said.

I did not want to rate this app at all, as I have no way to use it; it apparently is only for the Nook *Tablet,* not the Nook Color. Since it's a free app, I'm not complaining, really, but I think the product page should have made this clear.

Seems great, would be 5 stars if I could easily configure the Send to Kindle button on my browser to send to Nook. Not sure why Nook would promote an app that works better for the competitor.

Ive been waiting for a long time for an app like this in the nook app store. Works perfectly syncing all my articles across my iphone, nook, and computer. One of the few must have apps for the nook.

Its a pretty good app, but it lacks an option to make folders. Once this is integrated, it will be a 5 star app.

I can't speak about how well the app works, since I was able to "purchase" it, but can't use it... Only have a Nook Color and this app doesn't work with the Color, just the Tablet. You think the description could say that clearly, or maybe an announcement during the purchase process would say "this doesn't work on your device would you still like to purchase it?" I'd be more peeved if I'd actually paid for this, but find it lame.

Went to initiate and received error message saying that it was not compatible with my device. My device is Nook Tablet

This app was exactly what I was looking for! A way to streamline online articles in readable form so I can read them anytime on my Nook. Very elegant and well built app, it's incredible it's free! It also has some features I wish were built into the reading platform on my Nook, such as night reading, which is easier on the eyes with the LCD screen. One detriment, it cannot access files that you would need some sort of login to access online. So if one of my professors uploads an article to Blackboard and I view it online, when I try to put it on Readability, it says I do not have access to it. This is a great downfall since a lot of the files I want to read are accessed like this. Yet overall this app is stupendous and I highly recommend.

Although it says its available for nook color ever since I got it, it never wanted to open and when I contacted the developers they never answered back. The app could have a great potential but if it doesn't get better in terms of bugs, then the app is not good.

This seems like, if it actually worked, would be a very helpful tool while on the internet. I mean, saving a web page so you can view later even if you have no wi-fi....that would be pretty cool, right? Too bad it doesn't work!!! When I press 'read later' it doesn't always save the page and that can get really frustrating. Ugh.

Works very well if you want to save something from pulse or online articles. Very good buy, love it.

Does not work with Nook tablet on websites where your browser must accept cookies.

This is an amazing app. I have several things to read and having them available offline is a stress reliever. For some reason the app has abruptly stopped workimg to save the onlime documents for offline use. Please fix that!

Great product. Looks like there are a lot of people giving negative reviews because they cannot figure out how to use. Too bad. Really shortchanges a wonderful application.

Doesn't work on Nook Color, which is a pity. It would be a great app for Nook, Pocket also, seeing that both those are for saving what you're reading.

Am Not Sure After downloading and reading info on web site - it mentions use on Kindle but not on Nook. Am I supposed to have an icon on my Nook for this - if so - I do not. I can see how you can save article via computer - but can you via the Nook with Wifi on to use later without Wifi? Confusing.....

Nothing shows up on this app on my nook hd+.

Works ok, but has irritating flaws. Has difficulty with some texts, inserting weird characters when there are quotation marks (especially NY Times articles), which it doesn't do on the iOS version. When syncing articles, the list often doesnt load correctly, and tapping on an article will usually take you to the wrong one.

Like the Flipboard, I prefer using this app on the Nook. I can easily adjust the font size, the font itself and the layout. It does take up memory space if you don't archive the articles.

The more I use this app, the more I appreciate it. I installed the Readability add-on in my laptop's browser, but now I am so glad to learn (big thanks to the review posted June 4th) that I can go to an article from right on my Nook Tablet and save it for later offline reading. Furthermore, I am thrilled with the ability to use Readability in tandem with the Flipboard app! Not only am I able to read a saved article offline, but I am able to view that article in a clean, crisp display in the font I choose. If a future update adds the option to organize saved articles into folders, I will add a fifth star to my rating, because right now, that is the only major feature I can imagine enhancing the experience of this app. I offer my sincere thanks and appreciation to the innovators of this excellent product.

Give the Readability app for Nook the same update you just gave to the Readability app for iPhone/iPod!
