Does Shakespeare's Elizabethan terminology confuse you? Are there portions of the stories in Shakespeare that you don't understand? Would you like to have an intelligent viewpoint and critic about a play? Then this is the book for you! A Reader's Guide to Shakespeare outlines Shakespeare's plays so that you have a basic story line to go by. Then Rosenblum will critic the play to see what Shakespeare was really driving at! It also has key lines from plays noted throughout the book. In addition you'll see photos from famous actors in plays written by Shakespeare. There is also an outlined biography section on Shakespeare's personal life, and on his writing career. I am a Shakespeare fan, and can understand most of Shakespeare's plays, but this book really cleared up a lot for me by putting each story in a very simple format. That is what I've really enjoyed about it. And what a price, huh? That's pocket change for this big book! Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback.
