I have had several books before for Reading and this one is not my top favorite. It does include some classic stories but they are one's my son already read in 1st grade as Turtle and the Hare. It includes puzzles and activities that don't always involve understanding what was read. There are no stickers for an award like most books in reading comp. have. I was not impressed.
