    Recognition and Comprehension

    One of the few workbooks that builds progressively in the vocabulary they are presenting. In other words, they are constantly introducing new words, reviewing old and then continue to reinforce the words they've introduced. Also, while they are doing this all of the activities reinforce comprehension. Not all workbooks take a comprehensive and sequential approach to reading.

    Excellent!

    I chose this "Reading Skills" book because it focused on precisely what my daughter was learning in first grade. Each exercise is slightly different so my daughter isn't bored. She's learning new vocabulary as well as reading comprehension. The stories are short and the questions following are direct. I would definitley recommend this book.

    Great beginner book

    This book is clear and understandable, it will really help in teaching reading comprehension. Highly recommend to homeschoolers.
