This book is an excellent way to teach someone (doesn't have to be a teen) how to go about becoming a reader. In a society that is immersed with mindless, visual junk that doesn't last in your brain for more than the time it took to look at it, reading is the ONLY way to get smart, stay smart, and use your smartness! And while reading may seem daunting to some, this book lets everyone take it one day at a time. After following the schedule (which you must do) and paying close attention to the author's advice, I found my reading comprehension improve and my stamina for reading along with it. The book is funny, lighthearted and user friendly. I would recommend anyone to jump on board!
