I am really enjoying "The Men of 3X Construction" series, but Ms. Knowles is killing me with these cliffhangers. Now I have to wait for book 3 to see what happened to Smoke. Ms. Knowles is a good writer, I just wish she would tone it down with the curse words. I would have given this a higher rating but the profanity was overwhelming.

This book was too much. The language was very awful. A cuss word here and there spread through out is fine but in almost every sentence seems like overkill with the constant F words and M***F**ker bombs, it made the main characters look way too classless. And denise was supposed to be a preachers daughter? While constantly cussing like a sailer? Really? This book started of bad, and didnt keep my attention. I was extremely disappointed and wish i hadnt bought this book...i get the author was clearly trying to go for a more edgy urban interracial romance but she failed in my opinion, it was like she was trying too hard to make denise overly sassy in that blk woman attitudey stereotype kind of way while making red seem way to urban. The characters werent even all that likeable.
