Ok when I usually review a book I always review straight after reading it so I remember everything and what I'm feeling straight after reading it so I can give the most honest review I can.

With this book I have had to sleep on it, it rendered me speechless. Even now after 10 hours have passed I'm numb.

The excerpt :

Remington Tate is the strongest, most confusing man I’ve ever met in my life.

Had me hooked from that. So our story begins with Brooke and her friend Melanie going to watch an underground boxing match. When they are at the ringside and they announce Remington Riptide Tate.

"A shiver runs along my spine as the crowd goes crazy over the name alone"

This is even before Brooke has seen Remington. When Melanie dares Brooke to "look at him and tell me you wouldn't do anything for that man" When Brooke first sees Remington's face
"his face is suddenly before me, illuminated by the lights, and I just stare like an idiot from my place. My God" There are so many quotes I could use. when Melanie shouts how hot Remy is he turns and winks at Brooke. When Remy takes on Hammer in his first round he has Brooke melting in his seat. Then when he wins that round and turns and stares straight at Brooke she feels taken right there. As Remy takes on his second fighter Brooke stands to go to the toilet Remy k'os the man quickly and jumps out the ring and runs after Brooke. This is the start to their relationship, and omg is all I can say.

I loved this whole book, everything about it, the story, the character's, the pace, the setting. It drew me in like an addict and had me hook, line and sinker. There is so much I can say about the story to give you an insight but I wont because you need to read it with a fresh mind with no spoilers.

This is an amazing read, its made me numb and fried from reading it. My favourite quote from the book that can explain how I felt when I had read it is:
" Something rushes through me as if this is the first sip of water I've had in weeks, and every pore in me is dehydrated"

This book has plenty of move moments in it and I would give it 5/5 for movie moments( which is for me when your watching a film and it gets to the exciting part that grips you and you either have to go for a walk around the block or leave the room then come back, when I read a really good book and I get like this, for me the author has hit everything right about the story)

The only advice I will give about this book is this

1) Be prepared to forego all normal duties.
2) Make sure you have blinkers and earbuds, so cant see or hear anyone.
3) Preferably lock yourself in a room which has a lock.
4) You need a huge DO NOT DISTURB sign.

OMG!!!!! I've already read this book twice!! I seriously love Remy, he's one of my new BBF's!! I love the intensity between he and Brooke, it's hot and sincere. They're two broken people who manage to find hapiness together despite his mental illness and her broken past. The lengths that Remy goes to to make Brooke happy is mond blowing. I can't wait for the next book. Seriously people, if you haven't read this one, you missing out. READ IT NOW!!! Great job Katy Evans!!

This book was an experience. I'd read some reviews warning about delicious sexual tension, to savor it, and to just let the book take me away. I did. And it was the most amazing experience I have ever had with a book! It was like falling in love for the first time, and I will now always be in love with Remington Tate! The hero was kick ass, no blushing virgin, strong and she owned up to what she wanted. These two are meant to be! Intense and delicious awareness every moment they are together. This author wowed me from page one to the end and I can't wait for the next story!

Excellent

This is my first review for a book but one I must make. I found the characters in this story very real. I fell in love with Remington Tate. Such a wonderful story line and the sex scenes made me so hot under the collar I swear I could have smoked a cig after each scene and I don't smoke. So worth reading. I can't wait for the next book in this series.

Thank you finally a book with a plot, backbone, finding REAL love, with a mix of good hot sex scenes. This books story is really unique, which I find refreshing being that in 3 years I have read over 400 romance books. It was a little frustrating at the begining with Remy putting Brooke off, but then wow when you find out the why of it. Loved Remy and his caveman ways at times. Every girl likes doses of that at times. Loved that neither characters were sniffling idiots. Plus the other characters were fun to. Looking forward to the sequel. Keep up the great writing.

Was the male lead raised by wolves? That is the only way I can

Was the male lead raised by wolves? That is the only way I can explain all of this 'scenting' nonsense going on. I don't understand how people loved this book so much. It was just bizzare all the way around. One minute Brooke is a prude, the next minute she's talking like a phone sex operator.
Remy is grunting and sniffing the whole time. Also, this book does a great job making people with bipolar look like social outcasts. Just a hot mess.

I really enjoyed this book! I love Brooke and Remy! I love how it didn't leave you hanging but has a second part coming out. So please hurry?!?! Def worth the money and you won't be able to put it down. One of my now favorite books and I read 3-5 a week!!!

This book is one of the BEST book I have ever read!( and I have read a lot)!! Remy is one of the hottest book boys ever! And Brooke, I love her too! Its nice to see a stronge and beautiful main character! Cannot wait for the next one!! ( don't worry no cliff hanger here)!!!!!

Wow!!! Amazing story!!!

So now I get all the hype around this book!!!
The best part of this book was the intensity and depth of the story! I loved that both characters had a past and how they used music to communicate.

I was frustrated in the beginning of the book with all the back and forth of their relationship. However it made them getting together all the more intense!!!

I love this the story so much because it hit so many emotions and how the punches just kept coming!

Move over Gideon and Christian... Remy is a new force to be reckoned with...

WOW. that about sums it up. this book has intensity, drama, and tons and tons of hotness. I absolutely loved the relationship between Brooke and Remy! This will prove to be a great series if this first book is any indication. i can't wait to read the sequal!!!! You will be hooked from just the first chapter. Prepare yourself for a major book hangover with this one!

Almost, but not quite.

Wish there had been more from his point of view. It seemed like the majority of the issues in the relationship stemmed from him but the reader never got his perspective (until the epilogue). Overall the story was engaging and I would recommend. Just found myself getting pissed off at the characters at times.
