Overview

The unspoken horror and pure evil that surrounds such creatures as ghouls, werewolves and other shapeshifters, like were-tigers and were-hyenas, lurk in the darkest canyons of our primeval instincts.

Yet, it is astonishing that in our present age of serial killers, murderous savagery and rampant terrorism that tales of these foul creatures are discounted and disbelieved -- even laughed at.

I am not laughing.

The documented cases from various credible sources you’ll find in this 99-page, finely-illustrated volume, published exclusively for Kindle, will make the hair on the back of your neck stand up.

If nothing else, you will get a true sense of the dark side of reality, the evil that lurks sometimes waiting patiently to pounce on the innocent and pure when they least expect it.

While this work is meant to be entertaining, in reality, it is also meant to be sobering. It is my wish that you find it at the very least stimulating and interesting. And, oh yes, horrifying.

    Different

This book was OK. A little boring in some places but i did enjoy the stories they told. Amazing how far back in time werewolve stories had been documented.

Good topic, but book is only worth $1.00

Long, drawn out tales from 4-500 years ago, would like some stories and facts from 19-20 century.

    Loved the tales

These tales are classic stories of horror based on century-old accounts. The writing is formal, but the effect is the same. Some of these stories horrified me while other opened new doors of the unknown.

    Great, great bargain for $1

    Old, new myths and horrors

Some of this was tough to read because it's hard to believe some people can enjoy eating a corpse's flesh. But since the accounts are documented and mostly from the 1800s, I found the book very interesting, if not filled with true horror. Good buy for the money.

    Hardcore horror based on facts

This one surprised me. Some of the stories were pretty graphic and not for the squeamish. But if you are interested in how far back and where some of the stories about ghouls, werewolves and other monsters originate, then this ebook is for you too!
