From the Amazon Bestselling Author of 'Losing Me, Finding You' and 'Keeping Never'

"These are real people with real problems. This is real life, and it's real f*cked up."

Turner Campbell is an asshole.
I f*cking hate him.
But I can't get enough either.
He sings like an angel and f*cks like a devil.
If I could, I'd run away and never look back because to tell you the truth, I think this man might be the death of me.

& & &

Naomi Knox is a bitch.
I can't f*cking stand her.
But I can't stop thinking about her either.
She looks like an angel and plays like a devil.
If I could, I'd f*ck her good and forget all about her, but to tell you the truth, I think this woman might be my last saving grace.

Also Available From CM Stunich

-Tasting Never (New Adult Contemporary Romance)
-Losing Me, Finding You (New Adult Biker Romance)
-Hell Inc. (Comedic Paranormal Romance)

REAL UGLY EXCERPT:

A gasp goes up on my right and Turner appears out of nowhere, snatching my mic from its stand and grabbing Hayden around the waist. He makes a little 'come on' gesture at me and then leans forward and grabs my lips with his.
I don't stop playing; I can't. Even if I wanted to, I couldn't stop the burst of f*cking power that's just taken hold of me. I'm both a victim and a master to it as it draws my hands along the neck and plucks strings with a violent fervor that both scares and amazes me. Hot wet heat takes over my mouth and pulls the rest of the inner me out, and then I'm kissing Turner back hard and fast and furious while the world's most intense riffs are just pulled straight through me, cutting me up and bleeding me over the stage.

Meet the Author

C.M. Stunich was raised under a cover of fog in the area known simply as Eureka, CA. A mysterious place, this strange, arboreal land nursed Caitlin's (yes, that's her name!) desire to write strange fiction novels about wicked monsters, magical trains, and Nemean Lions (Google it!). She currently enjoys drag queens, having too many cats, and tribal bellydance.

Always a fan of the indie scene and 'sticking it to the man,' Ms. Stunich decided to take the road less traveled and forgo the traditional publishing route. You can be assured though that she received several rejections as to ensure her proper place in the world of writers before taking up a friend's offer to start a publishing company. Sarian Royal was born, and Ms. Stunich's books slowly transformed from mere baking chocolate to full blown tortes with hand sculpted fondant flowers.

C.M. is a writer obsessed with delivering the very best and scours her mind on a regular basis to select the most unusual stories for the outside world.

Ms. Stunich can be reached via e-mail or by post and loves to hear from her readers. Ms. Stunich also wrote this biography and has no idea why she decided to refer to herself in the third person.

Happy reading and carpe diem!

Oh. My. Effing.. God. I know this book just came out. Like, hours ago. I know that the author is releasing four books this month. I know this is WAY too much to ask, BUT I WANT BOOK TWO NOW! This book is freakin’ ridiculous. Turner and Naomi are a charged pair and every time they’re near each other the sparks fly. This book truly shows that there’s a fine line between love and hate.

In this first installment, you get a real peek into Naomi’s colorful past. The secrets that are hidden beneath her rock star surface are completely chilling and traumatizing. These secrets just don’t want to stay hidden. Someone knows Naomi’s secret and is tormenting her with it. Turner spends the majority of the story confused by Naomi's hot and cold behavior. He knows that he knows Naomi from someplace, but just can't place it. He doesn't even realize how involved he is in her dirty little secrets.

Just like every other CM Stunich book, this book has a stunning realistic quality. I love the raw edges I find in every single one of her books that I've read, and it makes me come back for more every time. There's no sugar coating here kids - just real people, real problems, and real drug use.

It is so difficult to review this book without spoilers, but trust me. You want to read this book. This book is amazing and the end will have you screaming for more.

Note: I received this book directly from the author in exchange for an honest review.

Wow…times infinity. I absolutely loved this book. It kept me up three nights in a row, feverishly flipping the proverbial pages on my
kindle, only to freak out when it died and I couldn't find my power cord. Never fear, people, I found my power cord, and all is right with the
world. CM Stunich wove a story that not only was fan-freaking-tastic, but so true to the rock star life I wondered if she'd been a groupie.
No judgments here, if she had. I just wish I could've gone along :) She nailed it…I said NAILED it! Naomi Knox and Turner Campbell
burn all kinds of hot in this book, and you get sucked into their love and dysfunction that you literally are yelling at your kindle telling
    them what to do.

Favorite line (Only because it's soooooo true of a woman's mind): "I could never love Dax because … because I hate Turner so much."

    Yeah, that's some good stuff!

I'm sorry but I could only give this book 3 stars. How do I say this but DARK ! At first the writing was so intriguing, and then it was just so repetitive. The whole book is so dark, and foul in which I could understand being 2 rock groups on tour. But crap no one like anyone, they were all high 90% of the time so you didn't take anything they did or said seriously. The secret of the book was just frustrating, you already knew she was a murderer. I don't know. I just got through 3/4 of it and said pah, especially knowing that it had a cliffhanger.

    C.M. Stunich
    Real Ugly
    Hard Rock Roots #1

Your either going to love or hate this book! Admittedly, it took me a little while to get into the writing style and language used (I tend to read YA / paranormal), but if swearing, drugs, sex and real life doesn’t bother you then I would definitely give this series a try. Naomi and Turner are both completely messed up, and a therapist would be set for life having these two as their clients, but they still draw you in and I couldn’t help but start to love them, want a slightly less messed up life for them both. You’re likely to want to shout and scream at some of the characters, throw the book / kindle across the room and stamp your feet in places, but all this did was prove how engrossed I got into the book. A warning though, it does end in one hell of a cliff hanger.

First thing I did after finishing this book? Buy book 2, Get Bent, devoured it and I now feel much better about the cliff hanger at the end of Real Ugly. Thankfully Get Bent ends in a much better place for the reader.

    Freaking fantastic!

Holy hell!! This book is crazy and I love it! There are so many different emotions going crazy during the whole story. There's also some mystery as well. Loved it! Can't wait to read Get Bent to see what happens next!
