Overview

Someone is eating for two...

Full-figured vampire Glory St. Clair thinks things are finally going her way. She's no longer possessed by a demon, the legions of hell aren't on her tail, and her love life is heating up since she managed to reconnect with her maker-and longtime lover-Jeremy Blade.

When a pregnant demon shows up on her doorstep, Glory knows that everything is about to go to hell. Alesa is claiming that the baby she's carrying is Rafe's, conceived while she was inhabiting Glory's body. A clever trap? Or could it be true?

Booties and bibs are the last thing on Glory's mind when she discovers dark secrets from her own forgotten past. Who is she? What is she? And how will the men in her life deal with the fact that she may be more powerful than she knew? One thing is certain. Glory has way more to worry about than fitting into her favorite pair of jeans...

    Just keeps better!!

I love this series, but unlike most series this one keeps getting better. The story plot gets better without getting too terribly unbelieveable or far out there. Love the characters, and the writing style.

Great addition to the series!!! Continues the story well, and I can't wait for the next one. If you have not read any of the books that came before a lot may not make sence. So start from the begining and enjoy.

REAL VAMPIRES HATE SKINNY JEANS by Gerry Bartlett Review by: Ter

REAL VAMPIRES HATE SKINNY JEANS by Gerry Bartlett
    Review by: Terri Richison

RV Hate Skinny Jeans is a fast paced, fun filled visit with old friends!

When Glory St. Clair was turned vampire back in 1604, she had a perfect figure. Unfortunately, that figure has not stood the test of time. Twenty-first century Glory is full-figured and now because of a drug she took she has a bloated belly that her healing death sleep does not return to normal. Is she doomed to an even larger size for the rest of eternity? Is her maker and lover Jeremiah Campbell right about the drug’s maker, Ian MacDonald? Is Ian using Glory to further a centuries old feud between the Campbell’s and MacDonald’s?

Then pregnant demon Alesa saunters back into Glory’s life and declares she will be living with Glory until after the baby is born. Alesa claims she was kicked out of hell because she got pregnant while inhabiting Glory’s body and that the baby’s father is Rafe, Glory’s former bodyguard, lover and forever friend.

But concern over a bloated belly and a pregnant demon pale when Glory learns that MacDonald has discovered an anomaly in Glory’s own blood.

Throw in the Devil, a Siren and a few Gods and Goddess and you have a book that will keep you up all night as you race to discover the truth … a truth that may shake the very foundation of everything Glory believes.

Love this series! Glory has some tough times just like everyone else. Sometimes we wonder if we can take anymore! Well if you ever had a doubt, just throw yourself into one of Ms. Barlett's books and you can carry yourself away. Even if just for a little while. You will love this series! I promise.

    Who can resist Glory???

Once again, Gerry Bartlett wrote an amazing book about our girl Glory St. Clare. I can relate to her struggle with a few extra pounds and wishing her body was a bit different. I WISH I could relate to her issues with her 3 hot guys! This book had brought back alot of people from Glory's past. They might might not be all her favorite people.... but it was good to see them again. The big thing was her Rock Star made an appearance in this book and they finally hooked up. I was surprised how she just kinda "went with it" and didn't over think her decision like she normally does. I also enjoyed the new spin about learning more about Glory's past that she didn't even know about and I hope we keep on learning what else she has going on inside of her.

The Real Vampire Series is one of my favorite. This was book number 8 and I would recommend this series to the paranormal romance fan who loves humor and HOT guys!

    I Also Recommend:

    Glory and her friends rock!

Gerry Bartlett dishes up another great Real Vampires romp. I have been reading this series beginning with the very first "real vampires" Ms. Bartlett penned. I have read books written by other paranormal authors from Mary Janice Davidson to Yasmine Galenorn to Stephenie Meyers to Katie Mac Alister to Charlaine Harris and I would rate Ms. Bartlett and Glory Saint Clair right up there with the best of them! The books are fun, entertaining and sexy!

Having gotten rid of a demon who possessed her, Glorianna St. Cl

Having gotten rid of a demon who possessed her, Glorianna St. Clair is hoping to make up with her maker and yummy lover Jeremy Blade. Their road to happy loving took a bit of bump when Glory was possessed, but now life is looking rosey…until trouble arrives in the form of a demon who claims she’s pregnant with a baby she conceived with Rafe while she took over Glory’s body.

This is not news that Jeremy welcomes, but Glory wasn’t responsible for what happened. But that’s not the worst of the news. A vampire scientist named Ian insists that Glory wasn’t human when Jeremy turned her into a vampire.

For centuries, Glory has managed to come to terms with her forever bloated body and the fact that she’ll never eat Cheetos or pizza again, but this latest news is tough. She doesn’t even know what she is or was anymore. But then again, the scientist may be trying to stir up an old feud.

Real Vampires Hate Skinny Jeans will charm readers and keep them turning the pages to discover along with Glory the truth about her origins. Another fun and sexy read you’ll want to devour!
