Really Clever Crosswords 2 (Mensa Series)by David Levinson Wilk
C rossword lovers will welcome this second volume of clever, challenging puzzles by David Levinson Wilk. He has devised 72 crosswords that will test solvers’ knowledge of a range of topics, covering a variety of tricky and entertaining themes. For one puzzle, you’ll have to know how much every letter of the alphabet scores in Scrabble. In another, words “jump” across black squares, while a third uses the same clues for multiple entries. And, of course, there are plenty of less experimental but equally fun crosswords, with anagrams, puns, hidden words in the grids, and other wordplay.

This crossword has some really good clues in it and I had to buy this second one after I finished the first one. Like any crossword book, it repeats some of it's quirkier clues but I couldn't put it down. I was determined to finish it.
This is a thouroughly enjoyable crossword book. The "really clever" aspect of these crosswords is that the author has used wordplay in many of the clues. A solver with an agile mind will figure out many of them; others will elicit a chuckle or a groan when the answer becomes clear.
