Don't say "The last one there is a rotten egg" unless you're absolutely sure there's a slow kid behind you.

Kids aren't supposed to have clean fingernails.

You have to love your brother, even if he doesn't deserve it.

Apologize for it before your mother notices the stain on your shirt.

Stamp your feet when you get angry.

You only go down the slide headfirst one time.

If you want to get carried, pretend to fall asleep in the back seat of the car.

If somebody calls you a crybaby, don't cry.

    I Also Recommend:

Love how children communicate-their honesty and their ability to say what they mean is delightful reading.Capturing their perception in a book makes wonderful reading.I love to laugh and this book appeals to my sense of humor.

I would recommend this book to anyone who loves to read and laugh out loud. This book brings back memories of some phrases my children would say to me and have me trying not to laugh at them.I love children and the directness and honesty of their outlook on life.I absolutely love this book!
