I think this book is just ok. If I had bought it I wouldnt have purchased the 2nd which was also free. Good for young adult but eventually they would be bored. At the end though I was curious about jake so I downloaded it also. I thought the author did well with the characters but I'm just not into "Alice in Scaryland" kind of books. I don't feel transition from one Realm to the other flowed. Sometimes I found myself saying Huh! or Huh? Wouldn't look for book by this author.
