A quick read but will hold you captive.

I was really surprised by this book. I couldn't put it down and look forward to more about Tod the Reaper. Now I have a new author to read. Well worth downloading especially since it's free. I've since read the rest of the series and am one book away. It is spell binding. I highly recommend this book.

    Wish it was longer

A great book. It was although very short and not near close to a Stephen King or J.K. Rowling book.

    Great Novella

This was a great novella, used to introduce this character into the "Soul Screamers" series. If you read this and were left feeling like you wanted to read more... then start with the first book in the series and read all five novels that are out now!!! Don't knock the novella down to one or two stars because it "was too short" or " it was based on only one character"... DUH... that's what a novella is for... TO HOOK YOU INTO A GREAT SERIES or give added background on a character.... I LOVED EVERY ONE OF THE BOOKS IN THIS SERIES! I hope there's a number six on its way!!!!

    More please.

OK- if this isn't a grab you and make you want to read more in a pay-for-it sequel I don't know what is. Just as you get into what was really going on in the story and who the characters are they cut you off! Rachel Vincent needs to complete this series with a full novel and help the readers to gain some of their sanity back. A great introduction to a deep and adventurous series full of emotional turmoil and supernatural, Reaper is sure to please... even if it is a short little jaunt.

    A favorite short read.

    The cover:

So this is Tod!! I¿m glad I can finally see how my favorite character looks like .

    The storyline:

So I was supposed to read this before My Soul To Keep but decided otherwise since It is just a novella and it wouldn¿t affect the story of the series. After finishing MStK, I decided that I needed to read this one. I had to know how Tod became who he is in the series.

This novella was short, accurate and good to read. I found a different Tod than the one in the series, acting like a selfish, non-human reaper but I found out why soon enough.

So to not spoil this review, I¿ll just say that unlike what Nash says all the time, that he¿s brother owes him, in fact, he owes Tod a lot!! You¿ll be so shocked to find out!

    The characters:

Tod is an awesome brother and Nash is obviously blind not to see that.

Levi, whom I was supposed to guess that he¿ll be here, is an awesome dead kid reaper! I¿m a fan of him!!! .

    Conclusion:

This was a very good quick read from Tod¿s point of view. As always, I love Rachel¿s writing .

    This is a favorite read.

    Good quick read

This is a good read especially for the price (free). Story is engaging and gives food for thought. You will feel like the story is too short or not leading anywhere if dont continue on the soul to keep series by the authur. Worth the time it takes to read and other series will make it even better.

    Good free book

Story line reminds me of the Jodi Picoult books....good writing, heartfelt story, makes you contemplate life, just not my "type" of books.
