David VanDyke is a former US Army Airborne enlisted soldier and, later in life, a US Air Force officer. He served in and out of combat zones all over the world in the 1980s through the 2000s. He lives in the Western U.S. with his wife and three dogs.

    Enjoyable

    A little shorter than I liked, but an enoyable read in a compelling universe. I'll be picking up more.

    I read the whole series and enjoyed it a great deal.  I normally get tired of a writer's style after three books in a series, but this series held my attention throughout.  One of my pet peeves is poor editing, all too common in many of the ebooks.  There were some in this batch, but not a great many.
