Editorial Reviews

School Library Journal
Gr 6 Up—High school senior Kendall Moorehead has strong psychic abilities, so when she has a vision of her own death, she is understandably shaken. Two months later, Kendall finds out that strange things have been happening at the mayor's house, and she and her ghost-hunting friends agree to investigate. What follows is a wild ride on the paranormal train, complete with ectoplasm, channeling, and an out-of-body experience. In the end, Kendall is able to tie up important (and unpredictable) loose ends with the spirit guide in the mayor's house, her family, her boyfriend, the vision she had of her own death, and her spirit guide. Unfortunately, a spotty plot, uneven characters, and outdated teen slang make this book hard to take seriously. Consider only where previous "Ghost Huntress" books have been popular.—Amanda Moss Struckmeyer, Middleton Public Library, WI

    Pretty Good

Well, I'm a harsh critic, but I'd have to say these books are definitely worth the read. While the newer books aren't as good as the first two, they definitely have not lost their charm. The writing, while not the best I have seen, definitely put you in Kendall's shoes and you really feel as if you are there with her, or even inside her head. It's not often I find a book about teenage life along with supernatural stuff that I like, especially not one in the first person. I would definitely reccomend this book, and I already have to one of my friends!

Reviewed by Ashley B for TeensReadToo.com

Two months ago, Kendall Moorehead had a premonition of her own death. But life seems to be going pretty good. She and Jason are better than ever, and she and her fellow ghost huntresses are getting numerous gigs in and around Radisson.

Their most recent job is at the Mayor's mansion. This just happens to be the most intense hunt they have been on. And this ghost is not a happy one. Kendall and her team have to make her see the light, or Kendall's premonition might become reality.

The third installment in the GHOST HUNTRESS series kept me just as hooked as the first two books. An incident with Jason and Taylor's mother sends her to the hospital, and ends up changing their lives in a major way, as well as Kendall's. Kendall also finds out a huge secret about herself that I didn't see coming, even though the clues were there all along!

I am so excited to see what Kendall will find in the next book!

    I Also Recommend:

    The best one yet

The reason is the book in the ghost huntress series so far. There is so much added to the story line, and it doesnot seem busy like so mnmay pther books. All of the actions are perfectly entwined with what is happening, and i feel like I am there through every word. There was no confusion at all making the epitemy of perfection. Again the charasters are amzing, and they never stray from where they were orginally created. All the turmoil was exciting. All I can say that screts are revealed, and that ties are broken, and bonds come back.
