Nina Bruhns has taken the step into the final frontier, with The Rebel Prince. Serenity June Woodson was on her way to Charleston, South Carolina to save her aunt, Tildy. Aunt Tildy owned the Second Sun crystal and Tarot Salon, and her favorite unusual star-shaped gold and gemstone necklace had been stolen. Aunt Tildy was all in an uproar about it until she had found a new male friend to help her find it. She had not had a male friend for forty-two years, and that one happened to be the person who gave Tildy the necklace. Serenity had to find out what this man wanted, she would almost bet that he had something to do with the necklace disappearing. When she meets Carch Sunstryker she knew she was in trouble. Carch Sunstryker was after Aunt Tildy¿s necklace. His grandfather had given it to Tildy when he had last been on earth, and he really shouldn¿t have done that. If it was found out on his planet that the necklace was gone his grandfather, who was king and all of his family could be killed for treason. Carch had only four days to find the necklace and get on a ship for home. Simple right? Wrong, the necklace was gone and he didn¿t have any idea where it could be. To further complicate things was Serenity. She could be a major distraction and he couldn¿t afford that. Ms. Burhns gives us a charming and handsome Prince from another planet to fall in love with. Carch wants to get the necklace to save his family from certain doom. While Serenity wanted to save her¿s from certain heartache. What they find is that to save both families they would have to unite in more ways than one.
