Meet the Author

David Healey is a graduate of the Stonecoast MFA program. He researched this novel by participating in Civil War reenactments and by learning how to drive a steam locomotive. He writes frequently about historical topics and is also the author of Sharpshooter, a Civil War novel published by Penguin Putnam.
