I really like this series. I can't wait for the next book. When I downloaded the first book I mainly did because of the price. I am really glad that I did. This turned out to be a great series.

I had not heard of Mr Larson when I first stumbled upon one of his books. I am an avid sci-fi/fantasy reader and was looking for books yo load onto my Nook. I was reading the Area 51 series when I received a B&N recommendation email. They reccomended MECH, the first book in Mr Larson's MECH series.
I looked the book up and was shocked at the very low price. Being new to the eReader world, I was apprehensive thinking the book would be more of o short story. Quite the opposite. MECH was immediately engaging and I flew through the book. I immediately purchased the second book in that series and finished it as quickly. Wanting to learn more about the author, I followed the link to his website. It was there I discovered the Star Force series.
As with the MECH series, I was hooked immediately. The first book in the series, Swarm, introduced a twist to the usual alien invasion genre. It was a fantastic book, as was the second and now this third installment. Mr Larson is an indie writer that has only himself and his writing to promote his books. In my opinion, he excels at both brilliantly in this series. Rebellion was a wonderful read and a great installment to the series. It has left me patiently waiting for the next book. I highly recommend this book and the rest in the series. I also recommend looking Mr Larson's website to learn more about his other series. Well worth the time!

I stayed up late reading it and picked it back up to finish it the first chance I got. The story has great action sequences and is very well told. If you're a fan of military sci- fi you won't be diappointed.

The first book, Swarm, was compelling, and a real action packed page turner.
The second book, Extinction, was even more action packed. I like the first book more, but this one was also very good.
This book, Rebellion, takes it to a whole new level. Having read all three books in a short time span, I can really see improvement in the author's writing, and I must say, I like this one the most.
Tons of character development (while not bogging down the story in slow, boring passages), LOTs of action, and cool new technology and weapons. I ended up staying away to finish this book - I couldn't put it down!

He's done it again, written a book I couldn't put down. I really enjoy this series of books. The characters are believable and its a real page turner. The only problem I have is that I read his books faster than he writes them.

This was the third in the series and it did not disappoint. If you have not read any of these books (Swarm, Extinction and Rebellion) then you are missing out on some top notch SciFi. The characters are not over the top and have depth, the plot and setting are both original and interesting. These books are fast paced and fun to read. Are they the absolute best written books ever? Probably not. But you will have fun reading them and will not regret the purchase, that's for sure.
Oh, and one thing that is also important to note; they are not 100 page mini books either. The first is the longest but all three are of respectable length.
If you are a SciFi fan, particularly looking for a military/combat style story, then these books are a must read.

I read this book straight through, couldnt put it down. Plenty of humor, and none stop action. If you are tired of waiting for Honor Harrington to stop talking for 90 pages before anything happens, and just want a lot of stuff to blow up in a truly interesting fashion then read this serise
