The first time I saw any piece related to Katekyo Hitman Reborn!, it was just fanart. I was fascinated by the characters (the fanart was of Tsunayoshi Sawada, Mukuro Rokudo, and Kyouya Hibari). I kept seeing fanart until I finally decided to read the manga. I never regretted it. Reborn! is about a boy named Tsuna who is nick-named "Dame-Tsuna" / "No-Good Tsuna" because he basically fails at everything. He reached the point where he basically gave up on everything and decided to just laze around at his house because no one ever believed in him. That was, until his mother found an ad in her mailbox for a tutor. Not giving up on her son, she decides to hire the tutor and save her son. Now this tutor, who is known as the title character Reborn, isn't an ordinary tutor. He is an infant. An infant from the mafia of all things. An infant who happens to be the best hitman in the world. Now even though this sounds completely ridiculous, with his Spartan-like methods, Tsuna's life turns upside-down. Tsuna finds people who he considers his friends and family. Tsuna obtains a power to show that he's not so weak anymore. Tsuna just grows tremendously and becomes a better person. This sounds great and all but that's not all there is about this manga. It's ridiculously hilarious. It's silly a lot of times. In later arcs, the series becomes serious, but the lightheartedness remains. The point is, Reborn! is a must read and people will not regret investing in this series.
