    Contrived and confusing.

    It started out well, the climax was interesting, and the conclusion was ridiculous.

    Not what I was expecting at all

    If you like a psycho horror thriller quick read this is well written and chilling at points. Sinister and downright evil at others, I would have liked a bit more development of the story a lot was left to be assumed. I was expecting something fun and thoughtful so this disturbed me but it was a good story. Just not for me.

    I love jennifer weiner but this short story was strange think it needed to be more develop and be a novel looked more like notes for a novel than a short story could have been more developed

    I am a fan of Jennifer Weiner. Her books always come with a hum

    I am a fan of Jennifer Weiner. Her books always come with a humorous twist that I love but this short story took me by surprise! It was a scary read that also left me a little sad... good job Jennifer! I have her next book on my nook and ready to go!

    Meh

    I guess it was an okay story, and I really can't explain why it bothered me a bit without spoiling it for you, so I won't. But really it was all pretty predictable and horrific. I did not feel for the protagonist at all, and in the end I don't think there was one redeeming character.

    On the other hand, I read the whole thing, it's a quick read and I still didn't just delete it like I could have. So it must have caught me in some way. It's not a waste of time to skim through it as long as it remains free!
