Meet the Author
Linda Evans has been beloved by American television viewers for over five decades, from her role as Audra Barkley on The Big Valley to the glamorous Krystle Carrington on Dynasty to Hell’s Kitchen, the British competitive cooking reality show she won in 2009. The Golden Globe-winning, Emmy-nominated actress also guest starred on shows ranging from McCloud to The Rockford Files, from the miniseries North and South to the prime-time drama Hunter, and starred in many films, playing opposite actors like Steve McQueen and Kenny Rogers. Retiring from Dynasty in 1989, Linda left Hollywood for the Pacific Northwest, where she began an extraordinary journey of self-discovery with a teacher named Ramtha. In recent years, she toured in a revival of Legends, and will be featured in a PBS documentary about TV legends in 2011. She lives in Washington State.
