Recipes from Historic California is another winner in the series that previously included Louisiana and Texas. Linda and Steve Bauer have now chosen my home state, ferreting out some of the oldest and most venerable institutions, along with some gems in historic Sonoma County and the wine country that this California native thought were secrets. This is a book for anyone interested in history, food, recipes, and travel within our Golden State.
Barry Benedict

Recipes from Historic California brings this gold directly to the comforts of your home- no travel agent or mining equipment required.
