Editorial Reviews

Dianne Williams
Travelers will enjoy the pictorial and culinary journey through New England that Linda and Steve Bauer take us on in their latest book. The diverse landscape of the region offers a bounty of game, seafood, vegetables, and fruits. Dishes inspired by Native Americans, Pilgrims, and other early immigrants are enjoyed as stews, chowders, succotash, cobblers, compotes, and more in celebration of this beautiful region of the country.
Alex and Jean Trebek

Linda and I each ventured far from our Ohio roots, but wherever she goes Linda shares the enthusiasm and sense of fun inherited from her mother. This time she explores my adopted region, and she brings a fresh, well-informed perspective on some of my very favorite places—plus some I can't wait to experience for myself.
