I fell really behind on reviews and I'm blaming that on the Outlander series. This book, however, was extremely engaging. Frustrating, but engaging.
I found Jax to be this dark, sensual type of hero. And Riley was the exact opposite of him. It's basically a good girl meets bad guy story, with a twist that both play games with one another.
Here's what I wish for this story, though, and the reason I marked it down: I wish there would have been a bit more development that showed the relationship building outside of s.e.x. Those scenes are hot, don't get me wrong, but I found their feelings didn't match what they were showing on the pages.
The beginning of the book really kicks off with a bang and moves quickly, but unfortunately that slows down. There's a lot going on with these two and their history, and it's important in how the two develop.
It's definitely a book to read, especially if your want to gear your taste more toward erotica.

**I received an ARC of this story in exchange for an honest review**
Jan and her co-worker Riley lived in Manhattan. One night they decided to go to the Wallabee Pub. The Cocks did an impromptu show. Riley felt as if the lead singer were a siren. After the show, the lead singer went to Riley and told her to meet him backstage. She nicknamed the rock star "Stud". The next day Riley received a text that she was going on the road with a bad as their tour accountant. Her job was to get the band to cuts their costs as they were spending too much. Jax was the lead singer from Saturday night. He nicknamed her "Pepper".
Jax is a troubled man that has tried to keep his past hidden. he's not a bad person but he's very moody. He's used to the rock star life, but "Pepper" is somehow different. Riley tried to really focus on her work and tried to fight her attraction to "Stud' She was a work-driven woman and there was a promise of a large bonus if she succeeded in this job. She grew close to the entire band, including Jax. I really enjoyed this book and can't wait to read the next one. I liked the twists and turns. It's not just a romance full of fluff. I recommend this to anyone that likes romances but likes a bit more to the storyline.

Love the characters, loved the story line, and loved the suspenseful parts. Had to buy second book to finish. Can't wait to see what happens next and how the story will end, if it ends with second book. Riley seemed a little whiny at times but that's how some women are. Love Jax, he's pretty awesome. Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback. Report this reviewThank you, this review has been flagged.

Great plot and good writing. Felt something missing throughout. Maybe the conversations, some of which could have been skipped. At times it just didnt feel like I was reading about adults in their mid and late twenties. Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback. I received a copy of this book in return for an honest review.
I LOVED THIS BOOK! It was so good and it ended on a cliffhanger, which really sucked. I want the next book ASAP. I have read books by Pricilla West before and always like her books.
At the beginning I wasn’t so sure if I would like it. Gradually as the story progressed I liked the story and the characters more and more. The side characters were good. I’m wondering if any of the other characters will have their own stories. For now though I am waiting to see what happens with the couple we have.
I really liked our girl. She seemed very smart and wasn’t afraid to stand up for herself against our hero when he needed it. Speaking of the hero…HOT! Don’t think any other words are necessary.
The tour bus was CRAZY! I had such a hard time imagining what it looked like because it seemed so insane. I have never seen a three story bus. I’m not convinced that’s an actual thing. I liked that our girl was an accountant and responsible for the band’s budget. It seemed like a very legit job.
I have read many rock star books and this one was excellent.

This was the first book I have read by Priscilla West. It was amazing! There were not any down moments. Meaning, I could not put it down. I am excited to read the next one. The characters were real. The story flowed well. Readers really need to give it a try. I know that I am checking out more by this author. Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback. Given To Me For An Honest Review
Priscilla West's book Reckless (The Forever Series) will have you wanting more. It's main characters are
Jax and Riley. Jax is a member of a band and Riley is an accountant. Their meeting is a bit unbelievable
but as the storyline goes on it makes sense to have those to together. This book will keep you on the
edge of your seat and you will keep turning those pages, one after the other. It's full of twists and turns
and when you get to the end and are ready to find out what's what .......CLIFFHANGER. Yep, cliffhanger.
So you will have to wait for the next book. But if the next is as good as this one it's worth the wait.
I recommend this to all.

I really like this author her writing style is fresh and down to earth. This book was kind of predictable though. Boy meets girl blah blah blah..
Not a bad read by any means but not anything new either...If you're looking for an exotic romance with a bit of substance you've found it.
