“Hotter than hell and a lot more fun. Skye Jordan’s writing sizzles!”
–Elisabeth Naughton, New York Times bestselling author

A couture wedding dress designer to the rich and famous, Lexi LaCroix’s image means everything. Raised on the wrong side of the tracks, her years of polish and hard work are finally about to pay off. But when she crosses paths with a sexier-than-sin, bad-boy biker who makes her realize how much living she’s sacrificed for her success, one touch is all it takes to make her turn reckless.

Jax Chamberlin has been screwed over by gorgeous gold-diggers one too many times. Though he runs his own stunt company, all of America knows his Hollywood face even years after he’s given up acting. Finding a woman who doesn’t plan to use him as a stepping stone to success is virtually impossible, so when the charming and mysterious Lexi offers him a chance at a totally anonymous hook-up during an out of town trip, Jax accepts. Only Lexi is more sextacular than charming, and Jax wants more. Lots more.

But Lexi’s got a major hang-up over his renegade lifestyle, and if she finds out his connections could catapult her to the top of her career, he’s afraid the fantasy woman he’s falling for might just end up like all the rest.

Meet the Author

New York Times and USA Today bestselling author writing red-hot contemporary romance as Skye Jordan.

Skye Jordan novels are all about enjoying that little wild streak we all have, but probably don’t let out often enough. About those fantasies we usually don’t get the opportunity to indulge. About stretching limits, checking out the dark side, playing naughty and maybe even acting a little wicked. They’re about escape and fun and pleasure and romance.

And, yes, even love. Because all Skye Jordan stories have a happily ever after...or, in some cases, a happily for the foreseeable future.

Thanks for reading!

I am very selective when it comes to reading erotic romances bec

I am very selective when it comes to reading erotic romances because I am incredibly picky with intimate scenes. I can be turned off on them really quickly with a few choice words or if the emotion just isn’t there. Because of this, I don’t usually seek out erotic romance books.  However, Reckless by Skye Jordan has been talked about in the social media circles I am part of so I finally decided I liked the author’s non-erotic books, why not try this one?

In the first book of Skye’s Renegades series, I was simply blown away. Blown away by the story telling and the depth of the book. I know, I shouldn’t think erotic romances are superficial, but I have read some that don’t develop the characters or the story and just have lots of sex. While Reckless does have a lot of passionate and sizzling hot intimate scenes, they are all very, very different and full of emotion. There is a lot of respect and love between Jax and Lexi (even if they don’t realize that it is love yet). The story itself and the character development are so damn good that you could take out several of the intimate scenes and it would still be just as awesome, though.

Jax and Lexi are two strangers that meet at an airport and start texting one another, with Jax not knowing what Lexi looks like. They get to know each other and decide to have a one night fling. Normally I hate these types of set ups. I just don’t agree with them in real life and always have 100 of things I want to warn the heroine before she does it. However, Skye is able to convince me that it can work. That two people can have a one night stand and turn it into true love.

The secondary characters including Wes, Tyler and Rubi were great fun to read about as well. I love the camaraderie between Tyler and Wes with Jax and the love and friendship between Rubi and Lexi is so solid and true. The setting for the story in LA and NY, including the Hollywood scene on sets, is such fun to read about.  If you are looking for a hot, sexy, erotic romance that is full of great characters, dialogue and a solid story, I highly recommend you try Reckless.

Whole love story in one book

Whole love story in one book, none if that 3 part crap. To top it off, it was a great love story that was hot also. ;) Will definitely read more from this author. I hope the next book is about Wes and Lexi's best friend.

    Reckless

Way too many bad words. I think most of the people that read don't want to read all these bad words. The story was good and interesting. But I can't give a fare rate because of so much bad language and sex. I had to skip a lot of pages.

    Wow

    ## WOW. This book was EXTRAORDINARY. 600 pages of pure bliss. If it wasn't for this pesky thing called a job, I would've read it all at once. I tried not to speed on my way home to finish it. I loved this story. The way these two met was awesome. So fresh and flirty. I couldn't stop smiling during the first couple of chapters. I simply adored this heroine. She was beautiful, capable, honest and so fun-loving. My very favorite kind of heroine. And holy guacamole, the hero was hot with a capital H. They had amazing chemistry and the sex was mm, mm good. This is my first book by this author but hopefully not my last. I'm hoping Ruby will have a story of her own or maybe Wes. I will be reading this again and again.

Fantastic Beginning to A Super Smexy New Contemporary Romance Series

What happens when Hollywood's bad boy in hiding meets little miss prim and proper? Hotness. Hotness happens. Lots-and-lots of hotness.

Reckless is the first book in Skye Jordan's Renegades series and was unputdownable. Be warned, you will not want to put aside Jax and Lexie's story for anything. I had things to do yesterday, most of which did not get done simply because "one more chapter" turned into another, which turned into another, and so on.

Not only was Reckless a smokin' hot read, but both Lexie and Jax were very engaging characters with issues they needed to overcome to make their relationship work. Jax (who happened to give me a major case of the swoons) is an actor turned stunt man who has been frakked over one too many times. He has trust issues out the yin yang and certainly isn't looking for more than a roll in the hay. Did I mention Jax is beyond smexy and quite the dirty talker?

"We've got all night to explore the many different kinds of orgasms that exist. And no, baby, they're not all the same."

Lexie is a haute couture dress designer who hasn't had a vacation day in years. On her flight to the biggest business meeting of her life, she sees Jax. He's everything she wants but nothing she needs. She can't stop thinking about him so using a bad ass app her friend, Rubie, designed, she contacts him anonymously. Sparks fly between them and I fell in lust. Lexie knows Jax is no good for her and could do damage to her career but what would one night with him really do?

Reckless was off the charts hot and I fell hard for Jax. *fans self* A lot of time in contemporary romance I'll find myself liking but not loving both of the main characters; that wasn't the case here. Jax and Lexie were both fantastic, had a great plot to work with, and I loved them together. Honestly I was a bit sad when the book ended as I wanted more; more of them and more of the world. Luckily Renegades is a series and Reckless was just the beginning so I'll get more of the super smexy world Skye Jordan created. I'm hoping book two is about Rubie and Wes as they had some serious sparkage.

    Romance plus

Characters you care about, witty text and dialogue, and definitely not the cliche romance plot - the characters make choices, sometimes good, sometimes not so good. Lots of sex and language not appropriate for teens, but enough to satisfy those who want a sexy romantic read. Hollywood actor turned stuntman, Jaz, and poor upbringing, self tought seamstress Lexi who makes multi thousand dollar handmade couture bridal gowns, and several side characters keep the plot sizzling.

    Great

I love the Phoenix series that this author writes as Joan Swan, but was not sure how she would do outside of the paranormal and suspense. Well, now I know and it was simply terrific. This a story of fate, the type that gets two people together no matter how much they fight it. The hero and the heroine have to overcome previous betrayals and find a way to trust. The passion between them is scorching, the way they come together against their better judgement, explosive. I absolutely loved how the author played with the words and dialogs to bring out so many emotions. Started the book and could not put it down until it was over.... and I was left wanting to read more about this couple. That good!

I loved this book! It was sexy and hot and oh so good! I loved the text flirting! It really grabbed my attention. Such a cool, original idea and the texts were witty, sexy and sassy!

I loved both Jax and Lexi. Jax was swoon worthy. I mean seriously hot! And Lexi was extremely likeable---sweet, smart, and independent. Their chemistry was off the charts sizzling and the sexy times were steamy!

I highly recommend this book to anyone who enjoys a well-written, steamy romance with a very likeable heroine and a burning hot hero. I cannot wait to read more in this series!

Reckless had me hooked from the very moment Lexi saw Jax outside

Reckless had me hooked from the very moment Lexi saw Jax outside of the airport and began an anonymous flirtation with him via text. These two were playful, flirty and incredibly sexy together. They both had a bad history of being used by significant others for their looks and notoriety and it left them both more than a bit mistrustful. The fact that their romance begins anonymously and through text allows them to bypass some of their worries while causing several miscommunications.

When Lexi and Jax finally give into their flirtations and meet in his hotel room, Lexi requests that the lights be left off to keep her identity a secret and protect her reputation. Jax complies and their encounter leads to some phenomenal dirty talk. Skye Jordan writes some fantastically intense and commanding sex scenes that leave even the most seasoned romance readers fanning themselves. And even with the incendiary passion, Jax and Lexi still have moments of sweetness and affection, doing little things for each other to show they care.

What bothered me about the novel was that Lexi and Jax are both gorgeous, famous, successful people who constantly complain about how hard it is to be gorgeous, famous and successful. They're not exactly relatable, even though I can empathize with their struggle of feeling used by significant others and wanting to be loved for who they are. They both just seemed a bit too perfect, even if they did have some very human insecurities. I think I would have enjoyed the story a bit more had they had some flaws or struggles I could connect with.

That said, I still really enjoyed the novel and couldn't put it down. I loved the use of technology as a mode of building the connection between Jax and Lexi and allowing it to bloom. The heroes were both good, hard-working people that I genuinely wanted to succeed and find love. The love scenes were hot as hell and I think Skye Jordan has a gift for seducing you with her words. This was my first read by Skye Jordan but I can definitely see myself picking up the rest of the series, though hopefully the rest of her characters will be a bit more relatable.
