Each chapter provides an anatomy and physiology review, identification of abnormal findings, contraindications, common effects of aging, sample cases and a review quiz. It is easy to read, easy to apply to practice, and is written from the perspective of bridging the current mainstream American medical language and theory with current massage/bodywork language and theory. An independent study test is included in the Appendix for those who want to obtain 15 NCBTMB Category A continuing education credits.

About the Author:

The author has been a massage therapist since 1982, a nurse since 1974, a nurse practitioner since 1993, and a community health educator since 1990. Her book is in its second printing.
