Recovery [Explicit Lyrics]

All Music Guide - Andy Kellman
As late as April, the title of Eminem's follow-up to Relapse was set to be titled Relapse 2, but the accumulating material for the release continued to stray farther away from the sound of Relapse. Realizing it wouldn't make sense to treat his seventh studio album as a sequel -- from both lyrical and production standpoints -- Eminem dubbed it Recovery. Proving the veteran MC's continued relevance, "Not Afraid," the album's first single, entered the Billboard Hot 100 at number one.

    Best Album Ever!

I have taken my time to review Eminem¿s latest album recovery. If you like rap music that has great lyrics and awesome beat, you will definitely love Eminem¿s album recovery. I personally loved all the songs on the album ¿Recovery¿, my two favorites on the album are, ¿Love the way you lie,¿ and ¿Not afraid.¿ Eminem has been raping for over 20 years, he has been named the best 40 year old rapper. Eminem puts a lot of time and effort into his songs, some of Eminem¿s songs talks about mistakes he has made in the past, and its like he is giving advice to his listeners. Some of his other songs have a moral that his viewers can learn. Eminem¿s album recovery features like 20 new songs by world famous rapper Eminem. You can definitely tell that Eminem loves his job as world. He has over 500 songs, I personally like them all. As you can tell I am a big fan of Eminem, he is my favorite singer in the whole wide world. As I mentioned that he wrote a song ¿Love the way you lie¿ with Rihanna. Rihanna is a girl that has wrote many songs just like Eminem he is Awesome! Eminem was one of the best freestyles in the world, he is still a freestyler. Even when he was in high school he was always free styling. And when he was a little boy he did free styling for his church. So you can tell that he loves doing free styling, even when he was little! He is a very good rapper even when he is free styling! I love all of his songs so much that I could scream! One of his nicknames are slimshady, I think he likes his nickname. People were shocked because her came up and made it from a small town. Everybody is shocked about how many awards her has won in his past and presence. He does a lot of personal work but gets a lot of help from , Dr. Dre, and lil Wayne. Some of Eminem¿s songs are up beat and fast while others are slow and soft. Eminem and his wife split up soon after the birth of his first son. I personally recommend Eminem¿s album Recovery. All his songs are good. You will not be disappointed by this album I promise, I have bought all of the songs on recovery on iTunes and uploaded it on my phone. Eminem definitely takes joy in his work I love him.

    The Critic

I am sorry to be the critic but Eminem is the most disusting and rude person I ever heard rap. I am sick of rappers that always talk about girls booty popping all over the place or just being plain rude. His voice is ugh ugh UGH! People may disagree or agree but this is just MY opinion. Have you guys ever heard about some simple rap that was not talking about sex or their body? It's just this CD had me fed up!!! Some songs are good don't get me wrong but Eminem as just he is! He is, and that's all that I should leave it at. Some people want to read this and hear the truth and some people don't. Please don't become a hater.

One of Eminem's best Albums yet!

The purpose of writing this to inform you of what I think of Eminem's new album Recovery. This album is thought to have some very good contenders and to be another one of his biggest hits. "Not Afraid" is one of those contenders. It is a song that anybody who has had an addiction to anything can feel as if they have accomplished something good. In the song, he is celebrating being sober from alcohol and how good it feels to be that way. He reflects on his life and does not know why he did not do it earlier. This song was number one on the Billboard 100 for many weeks. The reason I think it was there is because so many people can relate to this song because many, many people have addictions. This can include alcohol, drugs, gambling, and much more. All of these people can understand the pain that he is going through in this song. It is also a song that is easy to listen to and makes you happy that you are listening to it because you know he is putting his feelings out there for everyone to hear. The other contender for best song on the album is "Love the Way You Lie" featuring Rihanna. This song is basically about a couple in an abusive relationship and how they want to be together but they just cannot agree on anything and everything. I really like this song because it hits me right in the stomach. The song is so real that it seems like you are there and a part of it. It feels like you are feeling what they are feeling because they are so passionate about what they are singing about. Here is a quote from the song, "You ever love somebody so much that you can barely breathe/ When you're with them/ You meet/ And neither one of you/Even know what hit'em/ Got that warm fuzzy feeling/ Yeah them chills/ Used to get'em/ Now you're getting f***ing sick/ Of looking at'em." This song also was on the Billboard 100 hit list and it was number one for a few weeks.

    Amazing Album

I haven't really been a huge fan of eminem. I've liked his hit songs but never listened to an album. This album, recovery, is amazing. Every song is good from his songs with guests on them like "Love the Way you Lie" to his huge hit "Not Afraid". If you want songs that range from hillarious to deep, this is the album for you.

    "Recovery" Is An Understatement!

An announcement for everyone: Shady Is Back and Not In a Slim Way!

This is by far the most complete album by Shady since his inception in the rap game. His emotions exude on every track and are so accurate with immaculate rhymes it is mind boggling. Recovery is now synonymous with fire and everyone should forget his last few albums that dropped flat especially in comparison. Every song, every verse, is chilling and reminiscent of his early days where he brings you to a new place and time. This is not the hype train coming to your town. Soon you will agree with every word I'm saying and feel every relentless rhyme.

This album is a complete masterpiece!
