CUPCAKE PINCUSHION

Glug, glug – have you finished with that bottle? Don't throw it away: wash it out, grab two odd socks and make a cute pin cushion.

1. Ask an adult to cut the bottom off a plastic bottle, about 5 cm from its base. A craft or Stanley knife is best for this.

2. Measure 9cm from the top of the sock and cut. Discard the foot so that you are left with a tube of material. Pull this over the outside of the bottle so that the elastic hem fits snugly around the bottle’s bottom. Tuck the cut end inside the bottle.
