I've been cooking for 41 years and have over 1,000 cookbooks. Cooking is my hobby and I love it. That being said, I have tried 4 recipes from this book and they all have the basically the same problem. Now I do not trust any recipe in the book. I'm wondering if the recipes were proofed for proper steps, times and oven temperatures. One recipe in the book I rewrote and it came out just fine, but I feel for the new cooks who are trying to get a seasoned recipe from someone experienced, when the recipe will not work. Sorry I cannot give this book the rating that I wanted to give. People should not put out cookbooks without completely testing and writing for those who may not have any experience. Experienced cooks like correct timing and steps also. So, there are other cookbooks out there that do a better job at this. Buy them.
